This also had me thinking about situations in my life, and my health on the same topic. What are the areas in my life where I am thriving on natural supports versus other areas where I may need some artificial supports. Let’s take sleep for example. Getting my rest and getting to bed early in the evenings is something I continually work on. My brain is racing with to-do lists. What’s happening the next day? What didn’t I finish today? All the while trying to make sure I am present and spending quality time with my wife and family in those precious evening hours. A few natural supports that I use are: - Having a routine.
- Using similar timing.
- Not drinking any fluids after 8 o’clock.
- Not eating any food after 6:30 pm.
- Laying out my clothes the night before.
These are all little things I do for myself to naturally support a good night’s sleep. |
