I went into a men’s room at a restaurant a couple weeks ago and saw this amazing faucet. Wow! I thought, wow! This is really cool!
I admired the coil and the copper for a few minutes before I began to wash my hands. Finally, I turned on the faucet, and watched the flow of the water…. So very cool!
As I walked out of the restroom, I thought how creative it is that someone not only thought of that, but that a manager or owner said yes, let’s do it.
They could’ve put a regular faucet in that bathroom and nobody would’ve thought twice. It still would’ve been a nice bathroom. But now it’s a really cool bathroom with memorable and functional features. Why don’t we do more of this in our lives? Where is our creativity and imagination flourishing?
So many times, ideas pop in our heads and we say Naaaaah… Maybe it’s too expensive or too difficult to do. Has that happened to you?
I challenge you this week to lean into your creative side. Where can you create some cool context or run with some cool ideas? It’s invigorating and inspiring. Not only to you, but to those who encounter your cool ideas! Not everyone will like it and that’s ok too. Keep rolling on your journey.
