I’m so fortunate! I had a chance to go see A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond story on Broadway with my mom for her 82nd birthday.
We had an incredible day together. We had a nice lunch right across the street from the theater, and then saw the show, which was absolutely outstanding!
The show told the story of Neil’s life through his songs. The ups and downs of his life, his struggles with depression, but also his amazing creative side. We had a great time. Happy birthday, mom!
The opening song of the show was Beautiful Noise. Here are the lyrics:

What a beautiful noise.”
As I think about our time in schools, it truly is a beautiful noise. Many times the kids can drive us crazy with their endless energy and literally noise, but they are beautiful creatures and education is a wonderful art. Being around the never-ending noise every day is a blessing.
