She is, however, quite the finicky eater. She will give you a dirty look if she doesn’t like what you put in the bowl to feed her. Sometimes her food will sit there for half a day or even a whole day. If she doesn’t like the look of it, she just won’t touch it. I recently took her to the veterinarian for a check-up and mentioned that she does not eat her meals regularly. The doctor said to try adding a little olive oil to the food and mixing it up before putting it in the bowl. I shared that I had never heard of that, and said I would try it.
So we tried it, and Ruby ate up that food like she had never eaten before. She absolutely devoured it!
I was thrilled to see this change in her eating, and she’s been eating very well ever since.
This got me thinking about things in my own life that maybe weren’t going so well or that I was struggling with. What can I tweak just a little bit to make it better? What can I do just a little bit differently to make the activity or situation a little more positive and a little more desirable?
I didn’t need new food for Ruby or even need to make a drastic change. I just added a little recommended tweak from an expert and it worked like a charm.
Sometimes it’s just a little tweak in our lives, a little change, or adding a little bit of something that can make all the world of difference. Maybe try a little different timing or add that extra special little something that might change everything.
Asking an expert for their opinion or how they do it is another great strategy. I wish you the best in your journey and continued success in your ventures. If I can help you in any way, don’t hesitate to reach out at @andrewmarotta21 on Twitter.
I am currently booking updates in the spring and summer of 2024 for Keynote speeches, convocations, school openings, and more. I’d love to hear from you!
