We have a wood-burning stove in our living room that produces an incredible amount of heat for the house. It’s wonderful! During the winter months, we all enjoy the warmth and the beauty of the fire burning.
Many people just see the wood stacked on the front porch. The stack that’s ready to get thrown onto the fire and burn brightly. It’s dry, split, and stacked nicely. What most people don’t see is all of the preparation it takes to get the wood ready and in place to burn.
For those that burn wood to heat their home, you know. It’s getting the wood, cutting it, splitting it, stacking it, and then certainly the time it takes for it to dry. It’s the process, and doing it all right that produces great firewood. All this, all about 12 months ahead too! This, in turn, produces incredible heat and ambiance for the family. We all enjoy the burning of the firewood. Not everyone loves the process.
As we move forward in 2024, continue to focus on the process of the things that you want in your life. In the end, if you follow a good process, it will produce the results that you are looking for.
