One of the secret strategies I use is: ‘a little bit a lot of the time.’ I don’t sit at my desk and write 15 blogs over three hours. I write just one blog a lot of the time. I write just one. I actually do many of the blogs as talk to text via the Google app and then go back and clean it up later. When the ideas for the blogs come up in my head, I capture them immediately either by setting a Siri reminder, a calendar appointment to actually write the blog, or a good old-fashioned Post-it note

When we exercise, we don’t work out for five hours on a Sunday afternoon and then do nothing during the week? We do a little bit each day.
In our relationships, we don’t show attention, love, and support for one big 8-hour block, we show it each and every day on our journey with that person/our people.
When we have that massive project in front of us that we need to complete, use the brick analogy of the wall. That big wall is built one brick at a time. I am currently writing my next book, The Magic Acronyms, Formulas, and Impactful Stories of Leadership: A Tribute to the Amazing Dr. Rob Gilbert and the Success Hotline. With the many things going on in my life right now, that is my mindset: one excerpt at a time. I have a calendar of goals for 2024 broken down into weeks. One of the columns is ‘excerpts written.’ I have a goal of 5 per week. Sometimes more, but never less. Here is the logo/cover preview picture:

So there’s number 300. I’m moving on to 301. I hope you’ve enjoyed the blogs as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them. I hope 300 inspired you and positively impacted you.
I do ask you a favor: on this 300 bog anniversary date, could you do a couple of things for me?
#1: Can you please leave a positive review on Amazon of one of my books that you’ve read? The reviews really help. Share the book with a friend.
#2: Forward this blog to a friend and encourage them to sign up. I’m proud to share that my blog gets a 45% open rate because authentic readers like you open it and share the blog.
#3: Check out my podcast, Education Leadership and Beyond, #ELB. You can find it live on Facebook, Twitter, and my YouTube channel, as well as on iTunes and Spotify. It’s a weekly leadership podcast where I get to meet great leaders from around the world. I hope you’ll consider checking it out.
Keep rolling friends and keep surviving and thriving. It is an honor that you read my blogs. I am grateful an proud of the impact and inspiration you give to me and that I can share with others. On to number #301!
