Happy teacher, appreciation week, friends. A huge shout out to all my teacher friends out there whether Port Jervis, NY, Oregon, North Dakota, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Alabama, Texas, OKC, CA and more. Teachers everywhere have the most challenging, most complex, and most energy-draining job there is. They say that teachers make more decisions on a daily basis as a brain surgeon or pilot. Constantly adjusting what they’re doing for their students and the flow of the day, teachers are incredible. They are the heroes out there and deserve tremendous respect.
One of the things that teachers do maybe the most important is provide S.E.E.s. Significant emotional experiences. They create them with their mind, hearts, and a genuine nature, love, and care of kids. They want to make great experiences for them. These significant emotional experiences (S.E.E.) are our memories and really, what education is all about: Yes the learning AND significant emotional experiences.
Whether it’s winning that championship. getting into the National Honor Society, making that speech, passing the test, or that achievement that they have been working towards; Teachers are with them every step of the way.
This teacher appreciation week, let’s support and recognize teachers everywhere. It is the noblest profession and one that can create the deepest impact on our kids, our future. Thank you to teachers everywhere for all that you do! You are the true definition of surviving and thriving.
