I love my New Balance running sneaks for walking, running, and exercising.

Recently, the laces on my right shoe became uneven. I continued to tie them as usual, but the knot was never quite right. During my early morning workouts, I kept telling myself I would fix them “next time.” This went on for nearly two months before I finally took action. It made me wonder: why didn’t I fix it the first or second time I noticed? Why did I continue to let them be off balance?
While this might seem like a small example, it speaks to a bigger picture. I need to make time to balance things in my life—whether it’s my footwear, my schedule, or my focus. I must take the proactive steps necessary to ensure everything is in balance.
Whether the examples are small or significant, make the time to be balanced in your own life to position yourself for success and opportunity. If one wheel on your car is out of alignment or one bolt is loose? It’s going to impact the whole car if you don’t take care of that one little thing.
Stop, pause, analyze, and address the thing that is out of balance for you and get back to it!
If I can help you with this or other capacities of your leadership, please reach out. I’d love to connect with you and your team.
